Staunch defenders of the vernacular school system always seem to bring up religious schools when people are discussing the importance of having one national school system to foster true unity between Malaysians.

This is understandable to a certain extend because the non-muslims have been indoctrinated with islamophobia caused by decades of propaganda from the west.

But that is a topic for another time.

Vernacular schools are currently being discussed heatedly by the Malaysian public because they are one of the major causes of racial segregation for the various communities in our country.

Religious schools are not, more so the Islamic religious schools.

The Islamic religion urges its followers to celebrate and learn from the people of various cultures.

Also if you refer back to the comment section of my previous posts, you will inevitably see that the Malays more than welcome and actually celebrate our brothers and sisters from the different races if they choose to accept the Islamic religion.

As a Malaysian that firmly believes in a future of a united Malaysia, I strongly call on those who are also in agreement with me to furthwe advocate for a one national school system.
